It's easy to get caught up in the big decisions during a bathroom remodel - the layout, the tile choice, the fixtures. But honestly, the final details are what seal the deal. When everything comes together at the end, that's when a bathroom stops feeling like a construction zone and starts feeling like a finished space worth showing off.

Here's what we were working with on this one: floor-to-ceiling teal zellige-style tile running vertically throughout the entire room, a fluted wood vanity with brushed gold hardware, white quartz countertop, marble-look floor tile, and a glass-enclosed shower with a built-in niche lined in small hex tile. Every finish in this room was intentional. The gold hardware on the faucet, the shower system, the vanity pulls, and even the mirror frame all tie together without feeling overdone.

That mirror is worth calling out. An asymmetric, organic-shaped mirror with a gold frame isn't what you reach for when you want safe and forgettable. It's the kind of choice that elevates everything else in the room. Paired with a sleek bar-style light fixture mounted right to the tile, it pulls the whole vanity wall together in a way a standard rectangular mirror simply wouldn't.

The shower is where the tile work really shines. Getting vertical stacked tile to stay clean and consistent floor-to-ceiling - especially around a built-in niche and glass panel - takes real patience and precision. The recessed niche with white hex tile against that deep teal? That's a small detail that makes a big visual impact. This is exactly the kind of tile installation work we take seriously on every bathroom remodel we do.

The end result is a bathroom that feels custom, clean, and built to hold up. Not trendy for five minutes - genuinely well-designed. When the final pieces go in and it all clicks, that's the part of this work we enjoy most.
