Big open buildings are great - until you realize they're freezing in winter, sweltering in summer, and basically unusable for anything that matters. Getting the insulation and wall sheathing in early is what separates a building that just exists from one that actually works for you.
Here's what we're working with on this one. A large steel-frame warehouse getting fitted out with reflective insulation across the upper wall and ceiling line, paired with OSB wall sheathing panels running edge to edge across the lower section. That combination isn't random - the reflective layer handles radiant heat and condensation control, while the sheathing gives you a solid, finished surface that's ready for whatever comes next.
This is the kind of prep work that most people don't think about until it's too late. Skipping proper insulation in a building this size means fighting temperature swings year-round, dealing with moisture buildup, and ending up with a space that's uncomfortable to work in. Getting it right at this stage saves a lot of headaches down the road.
We work on builds like this regularly - warehouses, sheds, garages, and large-scale conversions where the interior needs to be properly lined and finished. Whether it's a garage conversion or a full commercial fit-out, the approach is the same: solid prep first, everything else follows.
Good finishing work starts before the walls go up. When the insulation and sheathing are done properly, the rest of the build goes smoother and the finished space actually performs the way it should.
